The work of a Friends group is as varied as its membership. The scope of
its projects is ignited and directed by its members’ imaginations.
What Do the Friends Do?
The Friends of the North Richland Hills Library is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to enhance and extend library resources, services and facilities through advocacy and community building. This organization is intended exclusively for charity, advocacy or educational purposes.
Friends advocate for the library within the community and help raise funds to support, enhance and expand public library services. They can host book sales, cultural programs, author events or specialized workshops at the Library. As a Friend, you can contribute as much or as little of your time, ideas or energy as you would like.
Friends of the North Richland Hills Library is a group of civic-minded citizens who recognize that libraries can change lives and ignite infinite possibilities within our community.
What Can I Do?
We want you to be as involved in the Friends – and in your library – as you want to be.
Friends meetings are held quarterly and special events are organized throughout the year. Some projects are ongoing — you decide for yourself what your participation will be. Whatever role you choose, you will be welcomed and appreciated!
